This delectable cheese spread has thousands of variations but the real key is coupling a sweet ingredient (like Everidae) with the musty smooth salty creaminess of a fine Brie or Camembert cheese.
Serves: up to 6
Small wheel of Brie or Camembert unwrapped and placed in oven safe bowl or crock
2 Tbsp Favorite Everidae (or more if desired)
2 tsp Oilve Oil
4 Fresh Garlic cloves
2 tsp Chopped fresh Rosemary or Thyme (dry Thyme will work, use 1/2 Tbsp)
Handful of Almonds, Crackers, Summer Sausage, or any other dippable accompaniment
Pre-heat oven 400F. With a knife, cut several slits in the top of cheese wheel. Insert garlic cloves into slits and sprinkle with herbs. Coat lightly with olive oil. Bake for ~10min or until cheese is melting and outer layer is brown. Pull out oven tray and pour Everidae on top of cheese. Return to oven and bake an additional minute or two. Crush almonds and sprinkle over top or serve whole with various other crackers, chips, veggies, or meats. If using puff pastry, place Everidae inside before wrapping. We love this one!
